We have nine churches in our rural circuit, stretching from Penistone to West Bretton to Emley. Churches generously share resources to make sure that we can employ leaders appropriate to the work we do. The Superintendent Minister, Rev Philip Bee, has oversight of the circuit as a whole and works with Local Lay Pastor Dr Alison Caswell to shape the life and work of the churches. Our Family and Children’s Worker (Samantha Forster) and Circuit Administrator (Anna Barron) are appointed to work across all churches and communities.
We have a ten-year plan to guide our future work together. One of the bigger pieces of work we have for the next few years is to make our churches carbon neutral so that they are fit for purpose in the 21st Century and beyond. We lead assemblies in local schools and work with families and children in our churches as well as meeting the needs of older people.
Join us this Sunday at one of our nine local churches.
